This is a message for ICANN official Tina Dam. I see she is now contributing to the Web site IDN Forums. I just want her to know that this Web site does NOT represent the real IDN community. Hi Brianludtke, thanks for your message. I joined the forum because a couple of their users contacted me with IDN questions. As I would do with anyone contacting me with IDN questions. As you can probably tell i was quite overwhelmed with the number of questions this sparked in the IDNforums. I have urged them to participate in the IDnwikis and try things out. It is important to note that we are trying to keep communication about IDNs open to all and with no restrictions no matter what the opinion of the interested party is. That said, I believe I in several of my replies have clashed with several of the mebers opinion - but again sharing information helps set expectations so that we don't end up with IDNs that are not solving the (wrong) expectations of potential users. --Tina 01:50, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
